Our aim was to ensure that someone was consciously praying throughout every minute of every hour of the day and night. We thus invited people to join our web of prayer and sign up for a 30 minute slot during which time they resolved to keep that beacon of prayer alight. How and where they chose to do that was entirely up to them, just as long as it was time spent with God.
We were delighted that, through the help of so many willing volunteers, we achieved our aim and the beacon of prayer was indeed kept alight throughout the 24 hours. Many thanks to everyone who took part!
