G3
What do we do?
In April,
2000, we began a service once a month on a Thursday evening called WoT?
(Worship on Thursdays). We explored various contemporary styles of
worship and brought them together in a format that appealed to all ages,
whether familiar with worship or not.
Building on this, in
2002 we launched our new venture, G3, on a Sunday
evening. Using drama, poetry, music, prayers, images, silence, readings,
symbolic actions, video and spoken word we aim to explore our relationship
with God and worship Him in a new and challenging way.
Why do we do it?
Worship needs
to arise from our everyday experiences. We want to offer worship in a style
which is accessible and meaningful in the 21st century.
We hope that worship
which speaks to us will speak to others and allow us all to encounter and
know God.
